Recently, I came across a video (watch below) of Grimes, playing the Ukulele to an unknown track in Canada. As Grimes is normally associated with electronics and her primary instruments would be her voice, keyboards and synthesizers while using looping and layering techniques, it was an exciting pleasure to find a video of Grimes going all unplugged, just using the Ukulele and her voice and wow, I was blowing away.

Who Is Ukulele Boy And Why Is He A You Tube Hit?This kid has become a huge you tube sensation (like a lot of people these days) and one of his videos has reached a staggering 35 million hits. He plays the Ukulele amazingly and is not shy about singing. But who is he?

This little boys name is Makoto and he speaks Japanese and is only 5 years old and at this age is already an excellent Ukulele player and a bright future lies ahead. He started playing the Ukulele in 2008 and learned it from watching a TV programme at Nippon Hōsō Kyōkai (NHK) or Japan Broadcasting Corporation that was broadcasting for around 3 months. How To Play The Ukulele Like Steve Martin?The Jerk was Steve Martins first role in a movie and Navin R. Johnson is one of my favorite characters of all time and this movie is definitely one of the funniest movie ever to be made.

In a scene after he meets a woman named Marie (Bernadette Peters) , as they walk along the beach they sing “Tonight You Belong to Me”, a beautiful 1950’s song, with Navin playing a martin ukulele and Marie on the cornet.
